embedded systems programmers

Location(s): Kirkland, WA / Hyderabad, India

PortalPlayer is currently looking for embedded systems programmers to join our team developing portable multimedia device infrastructure. Qualified candidates will join us on the cutting edge of embedded technology, using OODD (Object Oriented Design and Development), UML, and C++ to create market-leading portable device technology.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in design, development and debugging of embedded software.
• Proficiency in C++ and assembly language programming, exposure to hardware debugging.
• Experience with ARM processors, DSP and dual-core systems a plus.
• Strong RTOS knowledge and experience.
• Fast learner and great problem solver.
• Team oriented.
• Education: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience.
