Products    PortalPlayer dedicates 75 percent of its engineering resources to firmware and software development and support. Customers can choose from a suite of technologies including decoders and encoders, equalizers, multiple storage media, file systems, and digital rights management. The selected technologies are incorporated into a single system image and jointly integrated by PortalPlayer and the customer. This approach enables an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or original design manufacturer (ODM) to produce a system that is easily adapted to different product configurations.
