Memory Stick media, a compact storage media designed to capture and share data, digital images and secure digital audio files, is one of the many memory products supported by PortalPlayer.
Memory Stick, a flash memory card with a 10-pin connecter, also stores secure digital music files -- whether from the Internet or from a personal CD collection -- for playback on a Memory Stick-enabled portable device. Sony developed the Memory Stick, in July 1997 with Casio, Fujitsu, Olympus, Sanyo and Sharp.
