WinCE engineer

The PortalPlayer Firmware/Software Engineering Group designs, develops and deploys state-of-the-art firmware/software and applications that support digital music devices. It is a demanding responsibility requiring hardware/software application engineering and working with multi-vendor software and hardware.

Requirements: The position requires a BE/Btech or ME/Mtech in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent with over 5 years of experience. The candidate should be a good team player, with excellent time management, organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Other requirements include:

• Experience developing embedded real-time firmware in C, C++ and assembly
• hardware/software integration and debug expertise
• Solid track record delivering successful products and applications through the full product lifecycle
• Experience with extreme programming development practices and with internal systems a plus
• Software programming for hardware; RTOS understanding; ARM architecture
• WinCE5.0 kernel, driver, BSP level expertise is a plus, Expertise on WindowsMobile is a big plus
